And I mean bad. Not bad in that fun, lots of quotable lines, hilarious kind of badness. Just really really bad. Ultraviolet makes Matrix Reloaded look like Citizen Kane. Bad.

I wouldn't have bothered mentioning it, but its on the DVD sales top 20, and I want you to save your money. Don't even rent. That's two hours you'll never get back.

Fun, fun movie. If you dig swing at all, it's worth it. If you dig silly Japanese comedies, it's also worth it. The mushroom hunting scene alone is worth the price of admission. Find it if you can, but watch it in Japanese with English subtitles, please. Their delivery is half the fun.

I've been singing the praises of Korean films for a while now, but I've always been kind of in the dark about what releases were must see and which weren't. Koreanfilm.org has answered my information prayers.

If you've seen Old Boy (the Korean flick most Americanskis have seen), and thought it was truly awesome, check this site out. I can guarantee you that you'll feel cooler for it.

God. If it wouldn't have been a logistical nightmare for the advertising, they so would've called this movie Fast Tits.

So I see one of those American Express ads where celebrities fill in a little form, answering questions about their lives and personal tastes. This one's got Martin Scorsese. Under favorite movie, he's written "They Are Legion."

I think, "hey, what a great title. That sounds awesome." So I go to imdb, nothing. Amazon, nothing, I even search torrent sites. Zip.

At this point, I think, "Wow, this is one obscure film. For this to be the favorite movie of such a great director, I need to find it. Where should I look next?"

So I think about it for a good two minutes before it occurs to me that "They Are Legion" is not a title. He meant "lots." As in a bunch.

I am a moron.

But tell me if I'm wrong; wouldn't that be a great name for a movie?

Just go see it. Also, don't see the trailer for 1408. If you have already, wait a year to forget it before you see the movie.

A Must See. I've been a big fan of Mike Binder since The Mind of the Married Man, so I was expecting a good script. Saying Don Cheadle was good is like saying rain contains water.

Here's the line I never expected to write: Adam Sandler singlehandedly brought me to tears. Not that "I'm a dude" single tear you're usually allowed in extreme cases, but full on emotional shock. Punch Drunk Love impressed me, but this performance left me speechless.

At this rate, he's not too far from winning an Oscar. Seriously.

The Kingdom is a great movie, hands down, but the opening credits are now my favorite sequence of all time, surpassing Se7en, the old king of the hill. Check it out.
