Seems that Audi is doing a new ad campaign by asking for help in finding a "stolen" 2006 prerelease model of their A3. Interested to see what they do with this.

I've long been a fan of Honda's cog ad (provided below for those who haven't seen it), and even though the new "Sounds" ad isn't quite as groundbreaking, I have to give it its due. More info at BoingBoing.

Cosmetics company VLCC thought it would be a good idea to take images of horror and tragedy and use them to advertise face scrub. Face Scrub. Ads of the World has taken them down, probably from explosive response.
The tagline: "Some scars never go. Indian Berberry face scrub from VLCC."

I am all about clever advertising, even edgy advertising. Shame on designers M&C Saatchi. This is far too much, even in the "all publicity is good publicity" way. I will never buy a product from this company. Ever.
I would have loved this more if it was all right angles. Tron and curves don't mix.
On a side note, kudos to ifilm for one-upping the YouTube player. That menu button is slick.
